Malibu Creek State Park

Sometimes in our backyard is the best there is. We camped for four days this past weekend at Malibu Creek State Park. This is located about a 25 minute drive from our house. I hadn't been to this park in 20 years. The pictures I have posted below are from my hike on Sunday morning. The scenery was breathtaking. If you are an east coast raised person like me, you can never get enough green in California. Thanks to a cold rainy winter, our Spring landscape is lush this year. Soon, the green will turn to brown and yellow, and it will be 100 degrees, and much of the water in this creek will be gone... until next year. I won't miss another Spring hiking along Malibu Creek.
